The Venue at River's Edge is a recently restored Venue in downtown waterloo. Formerly the building was used as a community building before the city of waterloo had things like a school gym or a theater. At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. This amazing adventure began in 2016, since then we've hosted over 130 couples and their families and friends. Getting to know them is one of my favorite things. We aim to keep it not only affordable but stress free. Our philosophy is that you should be able to choose your vendors. We have some amazing suggestions but we welcome you to bring in your own licensed caterer and more.
