Dining outdoors on the spacious redwood deck allows your reception guests to take in the breathtaking views at The Mountain Terrace while enjoying our excellent in-house catering. Market lights overhead add to the ambience. Our seasonal tent is installed from fall to spring, keeping you and your guests comfortable in any season.

All the comforts of home, just steps away from your event!

Relax and prepare for your wedding day in our on-site accommodations adjacent to the venue. Our Terrace Suite house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and sleeps 10 people. It includes a full kitchen, dining room and living room filled with natural light. Perfect for you and your family or bridal party to prepare for, then relive your event without traveling.

The rental includes basic planning support, a tasting (after booking for the couple), tables, chairs and tableware for up to 250 people, an arch and a banquet manager the day of the wedding. Wedding Coordination services available for a fee.

The rental includes basic planning support, a tasting (after booking with lunch), tables, chairs and tableware for up to 250 people, an arch and a banquet manager the day of the wedding. In particular, the event coordinators at The Mountain Terrace are true professionals.     The Mountain Terrace is one of my favorite venues to perform at. With the tall trees and beautiful grassy lawn, there is plenty of room to spread out and I always feel at home with my harp in such a natural setting. The staff is wonderful, easy to work with, and friendly, and it has been a joy over the years to be a part of so many special and memorable events at this beautiful rustic venue!

    As a local California wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of working at The Mountain Terrace in Woodside many times over the past few years, and it’s truly one of my favorite venues. Nestled among the towering redwoods, this place offers a magical blend of natural beauty and charm that’s perfect for weddings from 20 people to 150. No matter the size, it always feels like an elevated backyard weddings with seamless transitions between spaces with plenty of photo oppurtunities. The outdoor ceremony space, with its meadow and stunning views of the Bay Area, is absolutely breathtaking. And the transition to a yummy dinner on the deck makes for such a cozy evening to top off the celebration. Not to mention, the fire pits s’mores option at the end of the night is an excellent way to make sure all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their time - dance party or no! From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream. The redwoods, open spaces, and panoramic views create endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, no matter the season or time of day. Plus, the staff here are amazing - always professional, friendly, and on top of everything, making every event run smoothly. I highly recommend working with their venue coordinators to keep things running smoothly, and the kitchen staff is beyond. I ALWAYS look forward to dinners at Mountain Terrace as they use fresh and seasonal ingredients and have some of the best dinner options of any of the venues I’ve worked at. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s serene, picturesque, and run by a fantastic team, The Mountain Terrace is a fantastic choice. It’s a place where unforgettable memories are made!

    The Mountain Terrace is the perfect wedding venue for couples who love nature and redwood forests. As a wedding photographer who specializes in redwood weddings, I have recommended this venue to many couples. Working with Kristy and the Mountain Terrace team is a dream. Their communication throughout the planning process is organized, clear, and concise, making it easy to coordinate all the details. The venue itself is stunning with gorgeous views of the peninsula and an on-site redwood grove tucked in the mountains.
